Hello there! I'm a software and hardware engineer. I knew it was my passion from the moment I wrote my first piece of code. I've worked as a lead developer for agencies, including Sapient, JWT, and R/GA in New York, London, and Tokyo. As technical director at Steady, I began exploring new ways to interact with machines beyond the standard web and mobile interfaces. These experiments led me to incorporate exciting new technologies, such as gesture recognition and sensor-based interactions, into installations for high-profile clients worldwide. In 2016, I co-founded Area of Effect. I have been credited for my work at institutions such as MoMA and the Gagosian in New York. I'm always eager to delve into the possibilities of human-computer interaction, and I teach graduate courses at SVA on connected devices, computer vision, and robotics.
There have been awards along the way if you are into that sort of thing — at Cannes, SXSW, One Show Interactive, Clio, and the London International Awards.
